Description:
The Rochester Art Center is seeking interns for Summer 2010 in the following areas: Education, Exhibitions, Visitor Services, Public Programs, Graphic Design/Technology, Marketing/Public Relations, Gallery Shop, Events, Development and Administration.
Interns will gain hands-on experience, while assisting professional staff. Interns will work on a variety of projects and assignments in their area of interest.
Interns are required to attend an orientation session in June.
All internships are unpaid and interns must commit to a minimum of 7-10 hours per week from June - August.
Interns are required to assist with Art Center events on, but not limited to, the following dates: June 16, 24, July 10, August 6 and 7.
High School Diploma is required, but some college experience preferred. Ability to work independently and as a team. Knowledge in art is preferred, but not essential.
