Support Springboard
Artists Growing - For 20 Years
Just like farmers feed our bodies, artists feed our souls. Springboard for the Arts is an economic development organization for individual artists. We help artists make a living and a life. Our work helping artists find health care, develop business skills, and connect with legal or other resources - acts as fertilizer for the work that artists produce. We know that when artists thrive, their communities do too.
Entering our 20th year, Springboard is growing too.
-
Our innovative Artists Access to Healthcare is doubling through new clinic partnerships and new healthcare guides.
-
We're growing from supporting 75 to 150 (and over 200 by next year) small arts groups and projects in our Incubator Program.
-
In partnership with the Minnesota State Arts Board and the Forum of Regional Arts Councils, we're bringing all 10 sessions of our Work of Art curriculum series to all eleven regions of Minnesota, working with 250 artists in every corner of the state.
-
We created CSA: Community Supported Art, a partnership with mnartists.org that directly connects 27 artists to 150 new arts patrons this summer and fall and is being replicated across the country.
- We won the Social Entrepreneurs Cup for our work in Healthcare and the 2010 Minnesota Non-Profit Excellence Award.
Springboard for the Arts is eight artists in Lowertown, St. Paul. This year, we are learning how to replicate what we do to serve even more artists across the state and the country.
We know Springboard changes artists' lives and communities, but we can't do it alone. We invite you to roll up your sleeves and join in. Help us cultivate the field for independent artists, creative entrepreneurs, and cultural producers.
